About me

Hi, I’m Bahar, but the children love to call me Miss B!

As the founder of Little Stars, I bring my passion for nurturing young minds into everything I do. I wear many hats as an educator, drama teacher, English and French teacher, and a kindergarten teacher, blending creativity and learning in the most joyful ways.

I’m deeply committed to professional growth, constantly attending training programs and seminars on child development and child psychology to ensure I provide the best for my students.

Right now, my focus is on creating inspiring lessons that teach emotional intelligence to children, helping them understand and express their emotions while building lifelong skills.

Let’s shine bright together at Little Stars! ✨

my Educatıonal approach

Montessori

I embrace the Montessori approach by fostering independence and self-directed learning in children. Through hands-on activities and a carefully prepared environment, I encourage exploration, curiosity, and the joy of discovery, allowing each child to learn at their own pace.

Froebel

Inspired by Froebel’s philosophy, I integrate play and creativity into my teaching practices. By recognizing the importance of play in a child’s development, I create engaging activities that blend learning with fun, nurturing imagination and critical thinking.

Waldorf

Rooted in the Waldorf method, I focus on holistic education, where creativity, rhythm, and emotional well-being are central. I incorporate storytelling, art, and nature-based activities to foster a love for learning and a deep connection with the world around them.

Reggio Emilia

Drawing from the Reggio Emilia philosophy, I value each child as a unique, capable individual. My teaching emphasizes collaborative projects, encouraging children to express themselves through multiple mediums while engaging deeply with their peers and environment.

Drama

I use drama as a powerful teaching tool to encourage creativity, collaboration, and self-expression in children. Through role-playing, storytelling, and imaginative activities, children develop confidence, communication skills, and empathy while having fun.

Sensory Play

I incorporate sensory play to stimulate children's curiosity and enhance their fine motor skills. Activities like exploring textures, scents, and materials allow children to engage their senses, fostering creativity and supporting their cognitive and emotional development.
